What was your first tattoo?
The angel underneath my chest was my first tattoo & was inspired by the beauty/innocence of the feminine physique. I wasn’t worried about the pain up until the machine started up & that’s when I almost chickened out & thought to myself, “Why didn’t I get something small on my ankle first?!”. To this day it remains my favorite & was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had.
Is it true that getting tattoos is addictive?
I’m definitely addicted to tattoos without a doubt. From a young age I always knew I wanted a few, but after my first I knew I was hooked. It has become a lifelong goal of mine to tell my story through my tattoos, push myself to limits I didn’t think I could overcome & dedicate my earnings to art I get to carry with me everywhere I go. The pain from tattoos, to me, is emotionally healing & physically therapeutic.
If you were voted Inked Magazine's cover girl, what would you do with $25,000?
With $25,000 I would treat my immediate family to a vacation to Malibu, CA. I have 3 nephews & they are my life. The eldest is autistic & is his happiest self in the ocean; seeing him smile & play carefree is everything to me. Me being the youngest sibling, my sisters & parents have all supported me through thick & thin and sacrificed so much for me to chase my dreams. We have never been able to enjoy a true family vacation together & I would be forever grateful to be the
