What was your first tattoo?
My first tattoo, I was a rebel teen, and got one when I was 16 years old. It’s a simple Hibiscus flower, on my lower left hip. I chose that spot in hopes of hiding it from my parents, which worked for about a year, until that one time my mom went bikini shopping with me...
Is it true that getting tattoos is addictive?
I think so. When I was younger I wanted them because they were cool, now as an adult most of my ink as some important meaning behind it, or a great story to remeber. I think the addictive aspect of getting tattooed for me is more of the place in time, and a reminder of how I have evolved. Self improvement is something I am constantly striving to accomplish, and my most recent work on my sleeve is reflective of that. I feel as long as I am evolving, I will continue to get more ink.
If you were voted Inked Magazine's cover girl, what would you do with $25,000?
If I were voted Inked Magazine’s cover girl, I would probably use some of the money for a nice vacation. Donate some to a local animal shelter; I’m a huge animal lover, get started on my next tattoo, and help others achieve their health goals.
